The Miami Yacht Show returns this weekend
500 yachts and superyachts are set to feature at the boat extravaganza
This weekend, Biscayne Bay will play host to the 31st Miami Yacht Show, which runs from Thursday through to Sunday.
The event will feature around 500 yachts and has moved location to One Herald Plaza for this year’s event. The event takes place in-water, showcasing a range of new and pre-owned yachts and superyachts from some of the world’s most renowned boat builders.
Of the hundreds of yachts appearing at the event, there are a number of yachts that show-goers will be looking out for. The Lürssen Kismet is perhaps top of the list; a 312-foot boat complete with glass walls, bespoke bar, winter garden, swimming pool and custom décor is certain to turn heads, with a UK-based design team responsible for the interior.
The sporty 197-foot Excellence V by Abeking & Rasmussen, with off-white décor and topside jacuzzi, and Kamalaya by Dutch manufacturer Amels are also top picks for the event, though there are a number of exclusives at the event, too. Cheoy Lee’s CL Yachts brand is set to feature, with the CLA76F and CLB72 appearing at the show. Britain’s Sunseeker is also debuting its new 74 Sport Yacht, which offers a convertible cockpit door to turn the boat from an open yacht to a closed one, or vice versa.
The Miami International Boat Show is also taking place this weekend, with boats set to be announced soon. The Coconut Grove Art Festival, Art Wynwood fair, and the Design District’s luxury watch and car shows are also set for this weekend, making this one of Miami’s busiest weekends of the year.
