Johnson Yachts reveals the Johnson 70
The bespoke vessel heads into production and promises versatility to the owner
A new 70-foot yacht, the Johnson 70, has been announced to be in construction by Johnson Yachts.
The Johnson 70 aims to be customisable to the buyer, with build-to-order design and custom construction options, including a choice of three or four staterooms, and whether the skylounge is enclosed or open. This is in line with the rest of the Johnson line, which the company describe as offering “sea going capabilities and superb accommodation”.
“We can work with each owner to create a unique Johnson 70,” said Andy Huang, president of Johnson Yachts. “Every yacht owner knows his or her needs far better than we do, but we can build a Johnson 70 to suit each one of them and create something special. We're very excited to get the word out about the Johnson 70.”
The Johnson 70 offers both flybridge and skylounge versions. The main deck provides wraparound counters and a large space for big groups looking to enjoy meals. Behind the galley and dining area, the Johnson 70 has a saloon area with wide sliding doors. Owners will have the option of adding a fishing cockpit to the yacht.
The yacht is said to perform well at sea and is designed to be extremely versatile for whatever the owner requires.
